Random scattered dreams - [livejournal.com profile] fyatuk, I think we may have been slaying orcs and vampires at one point. Most of it seemed to be set in a dark underground city, with a pub and separate enclosed areas, a railway station, even an underground river. I kept waking up though, so only snatches of dreams.

Hmmm, if we were slaughtering stuff, what weapons were we using? In my dreams it's always an axe...

Damn smiling axe murderer

Elfking: I wonder if the ghouls and lizards of Fallenthorp were at work again with that dream gem they stole from the totem, since they can't seem to hold onto the teardrop for any great length of time! This quest (Teardrop - fjord zone) came out shortly after we both stopped PB coding, in case you don't remember.

Mule: Why slay orcs and vampires when they make decent trick-based card game and gin rummy players? Sure, orcs are about as pretty to look at as I am and a vampire's draining ability is second only to tax agencies, but it's so hard to get a decent group together these days! It would seem your feverish dreams are definitely causing some creative thoughts to bubble through to the surface, but given your level of interest in medieval magic and monsters, not too surprising. One question I do have for you, though, is if there will be any decent donuts available when I invade your brain and settle in to watch the whole dream sequence. The fragments (aka trailers) you tease us with have now attracted too much hungry attention! ;)

Duet: Mudding and Ultima 5: Warriors of Destiny have alas done some permanent damage, I'm afraid. I no longer seem able to spell axe "properly" as ax. *le sniff*

Hrmm, I have that problem myself... I am pleased I've managed to hand on to "center" and "theater" instead of "centre" and "theatre" though...

Sheer and spiteful jealousy, being a lousy card player myself.

Yeah - for sure. Do you want proper English-style doughnuts, or your strange American frosted foam-rings? ;)

Heh, don't know about him, but I prefer the plain cake style donuts. Don't like the uber-sweet glazing most people use or all the little add-ons like filling (except custard, custard filled are good), powdered sugar, chocolate covering, or sprinkles.

Gimme a plain cake donut any day...

Just plain cake ones? Are those ring-shaped donuts (as opposed to puffy doughnuts, filled with jam and sprinkled with sugar... maybe jelly donuts to you guys?). We'll just get some of them then, as Mr Karrot has decided he doesn't like donuts, and I'm not a big fan of sweet things. Including custard :P

They should always be proper, but what actually happens to them is of little consequence to me. I don't eat donuts period. :)

Is this part of your diet, or have you just never eaten them? Personally I find them a bit sweet. Mini ones are ok though.

You had a halberd, so fairly close. I had a sword, but I think that was down to finding one of those cheesy plastic kids swords at the weekend and hacking a lot of things with it.

Halberds are fun! So are those plastic swords..

Really want a nice katana set (katana, wakisashi (sp?), tanto (?)). Hmm, when you start forgetting the spelling and terms its time to spend more time researching it... bleh.
