This book was about the impossible art of being female, and was picked up on impulse at the local library. It started off promisingly with some science, then descended into the sort of irritating faux straight talking style that they reckon your best mate would give you, only my female friends aren't annoying or stupid so it feels a bit irrelevant. The only moment it vaguely redeemed itself was when it condemned moral relativism, which was good as a personal reminder not to be such a hippy. Just don't bother - too thick and heavy to carry home from the library, even if you lived next door to it.
