Went to see this, and it was great.

My brother'sgirlfriend left him :( I think he's going to be OK.

1) This post was apparently double posted.

2) Hrmm, that looks interesting. I hate not having theatre here. We can't even keep our symphony from going bankrupt. Everyone here would rather get drunk and shoot drugs than listen to the great pieces of classical music. Prolly has to do with having the lowest standard of living for any city with over 1 mil people in the US.

3) You frown after worrying about whether he was mentally/emotionally abusing her, and trying to control her too much? I know, sucks when bad things happen to a family member, but its probably best for both of them.

(1) Thanks - I removed the spare.

(2) I'm lucky - Bristol is a comparatively arty city, given its size and position.

(3) I guess I was hoping that they'd somehow magically sort something out, you know? Although, given that they're not likely to, I agree that this is for the best.

Lucky you. I grew up here in SA, so I'm not really "refined" I guess you could say. Though I did enjoy the few times I got to see the Symphony and I really enjoyed the UTSA Opera production we got to go watch practice for (damned if I know which one, it was when I was 10 or so).

Know what you mean about the magically sorting things out. I've hoped that about quite a few couples I've seen. Rarely actually happens though.
