Heh. PJ Harvey *and* the Chemical Brothers are playing Glastonbury. And they're some of the lesser reasons why it would have been cool to have actually bothered getting a ticket :D

Not feeling good. Wanna go home. I'm going to spend some time with the secret bench. No mystery there - it's just a well-hidden bench that I use as a chill zone at work. And seeing as I'm here and typing, I seem to have mysteriously cheered up anyway.

*boggles*

Heheh. Apparently I use a kinaesthetic representational system, checking communications with my feelings. Great. My primary representational system works on touch, and I'm for the most part touch-phobic. And yes, there are exceptions :P Luckily the other systems (visual, auditory, audio-digital) weren't too far behind... I'm just not specialist enough :/

Heh. My head of HR just emailed me, with text including the words "fab" and "groovy". I kid you not.

Which adds to the distinct feeling that today my heart and mind are on the top of a very high mountain.

With work somewhere a long way away in the foothills.

Time for some skulking, I think...

There's no word I can come up with right now that isn't libellous :)

Hmm... What is it with Glasto ? My first thoughts were "Rubbish lineup, I won't bother" and now it's too late to do anything about it, here are two acts that I _would_ have liked to go and see.

Still, I suppose they sell out no matter who plays, so what does it matter to them?

Yup - that's pretty much the ethical dilemma that's meant that I've never been to Glastonbury. A harsh person might think that the people who go really aren't into the music at all. And I'm not buying overpriced tickets for an unknown line-up.

Heheh. But then I often regret it.

Oooh, good lineup :) Chemical Brothers put on a great show.

If you get a chance (after you finish skulking ;), could you explain what you meant about your representational system? It sounded interesting.

It's OK - I finished skulking now :) Representational systems come from an NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) framework. Like a programming shortcut for interactions, much in the same way that I consider MBTI an interactional shortcut for relationships :) But you probably already knew that, so here's a link:

Representational systems are your primary sensual method of making sense of the world - whether you prefer audio data, visual cues, other sensual data or internal monologue.

What does "audio-digital" mean?

In this context, a person with an audio-digital preference will carry out a lot of rational internal dialogue. There's a link to the stuff here:

I need to check more into that kinaesthetic and ennegramatic profile stuff. Maybe this weekend.
