I keep getting ghost mail at work - little envelopes show up on my task bar, but no mail :( Actually, not sure why the sad face, as no news is good news. And mail from ghosts would be even better.

It's a win-win situation.

Vaguely linked to mail, I know this is terribly passe, but if anyone want a GMail invite, then I have more than I know what to do with.

In good news, I'm just about to click the "dismiss" button on my final to-do item. I haven't done this in months. I can't remember the last time I was up-to-date with work.

And I'm going to see Batman tonight. Christian Bale *and* Cillian Murphy. Has to be good.

*ahem*

I get that too!

We blame it on our boss's calendar that he shared over to us. Half the time when we get the new mail icon that's listed as having new items. Of course the other half the time there's nothing, so who knows. One of the reasons outlook gets on my nerves is the damn ghosts!

Congrats on being up to date! Wish I could do that... Well, I could, but it would involve not goofing off for a day or 2, and we can't have that now ;)

Have fun at Batman! I'm going to see it probably Saturday afternoon. I'm sure parts of it will annoy me, as all comic-book-turned-movies do. I get annoyed at King Arthur movies too... Damn people changing everything around :(

To be fair, they often are just plain shit, too.

Well, quite true...

But I usually don't notice that until the second time I've seen it, which few make it that far because of the annoyance factor.

The only one's I actually enjoy watching are the 1980-whatever version of "Excalibur" and the cartoon "Sword in the Stone". Those are just marvelous.

Other than that, I'd rather read Sir Malory.

Yeah - Excalibur's OK, actually. The more recent crop have been complete arse.

I prefer the books :)

Then again, with few exceptions, books are always better than movies. It's just a matter of time or energy as to which one prefers. I rarely have the energy to read books anymore, so I settle for TV and movies too often :(

I'm a bad nerd. bad bad nerd!

Well, you're making your time and energy expenditure more efficient. That's quite nerdy :) And at some point in life, you do realise that you're not going to be able to read everything. So film and TV versions are, again, maxmimising your nerdiness :)
