the clocks in the psych building are all sync'd up to the main electrical wiring through the walls, and at 7pm they all reset each other to the central clock in the basement. Any one that is off (either fast or slow) will rotate through a 12 hour cycle to get back in sync with the main clock, so for about 3 minutes every evening NOBODY knows what time it is and all the clocks are crazy. Makes you wonder who designed the thing... this is the PSYCHOLOGY building, after all!
It's a dry heat, with damp waves. Of course, pith helmets aren't what they used to be. Back in the older days, when people took the pith properly out of the trees...
