problem is it's a lot easier to believe criticism than compliments :/
This is a subject that totally fascinates me - some people are naturally confident, believe compliments and go around thinking they're great. A few people are "true neutrals" and don't really take much notice of anything, and the rest of us tend to believe the worst. I've spent a long time learning about psychology and personality type, but I often think it must be down to something in our upbringing.
