I always got the feeling that Buffy was some random show for ppl to drool over SMG and whatnot. Just looks like another Charmed to me. Is it actually any good?

I always enjoyed it, and I don't really watch TV. For me, it works kind of on the level of a smart soap opera. And is better than Charmed. Better written, better filmed, better acted.
