Day off...
May. 7th, 2003 01:25 pmOnly working four days a week was a good idea - less money, but more sanity (maybe :D)
Anyway, spent the morning doing tae-bo and retail therapy. Bought a nice chinese top with lacing up the side - not sure where I'll wear it though - and a couple of herb plants. Even spent an hour doing the crappy documentation and code for work - I need to put some overtime in if I'm going to meet that deadline. Also uploaded a bunch of photos to my website.
What to do next? Hmm. Have some OU stuff to do this afternoon - a good chapter on folklore and story-telling - and sooner or later I've got to do a website for someone. Wish I hadn't volunteered for that, but it will look good on the CV if I ever apply for another job. Which was the plan, but I'm getting promoted so I'm not so sure anymore. Not even sure how I feel about it - pleased obviously, but I was planning to move on and do other stuff at some point. Oh well - I'll see how it works out :)
