the tempest

Went to see "The Tempest" in Queen's Square in Bristol. Outdoor productions are always interesting, especially when it rains. Only one short, sharp shower though, and the play was pretty good. Was amused at my self-confessed "cultured" colleague could only cope with half an hour before skiving off to the pub :D

Haven't got around to much else today - about 500 words of my 1500 word essay are written, but I've had a good day and achieved many small chores, so I'm not going to stress about it :)

OK - yawn... yawn... yawn... Time for bed...

Time for a planned study break. I have to go and get my hair cut as I look like a total freak. Hopefully I can steer them away from ballsing it up too much. Or wanting to do anything exciting with colour :D I'm past the days of feeling bothered to dye my hair. Well, maybe some green or purple bits would be nice, but seeing the reaction at work to one of my friends bleaching his hair, I'm not sure if it's worth the attention!

It looks like it's going to rain. Wish the weather would cheer up as there's lots of outdoor stuff I'd like to do. On the other hand, that would drag me away from my beloved (note sarcastic tone) essay, so it's probably better that it's grey.

Ah well - off to be shorn!
