Sort out tiles and seals in bathroom
Board up gaps in kitchen
Seals in kitchen, by sink
Shelves in porch
Blind in lounge
Paper and pipes in lounge
Hang pictures
Skirting boards

I guess I'll just take a weekend to do it some time.

LOL - I just need to keep it somewhere, so it doesn't vaguely bug me. Like, I sit in the bath and realise that I need to replace the mouldy sealant. And it'll sit in the back of my brain until I do it.

Did you find something to read? I'm reading "The Selfish Gene" at the moment :)

I read The Dorr Into Summer (Heinlein), which I'd apparently read previously, and forgotten about. Very good, cat-involving science fiction. I prefer his books where he's not writing about women, because he's not very good at it. Also read Kitchen (Banana Yoshimoto) again. I'd forgotten just how good that one is. Everything of hers I've read has been sad and beautiful and a bit strange, sort of like Richard Brautigan, but less abstract.

I have a roller blind to put up, but it's going to involve drilling. Which I hate. So I've been procrastinating it for ages.

oh kind of like curtains, but blinds. lol i'm very slow at times and slower at other times ;)

That's OK - I'm quite obscure at times, and often misunderstood ;)

And the card was a lovely thought :) I wasn't sure how close a friend you were directing the post at, but I remembered getting little notes and postcards from penfriends when I was little, and how much fun it was to get "real" mail, so I thought I'd apply :P And now I have your address too!

i'm glad that you did! i am awful about writing and even worse about doing it consistently, but i really want to become better with reaching out to communicate with peeps. my goal this year is to send letters and notes sporadically to different people. i have to admit, i loved sending the ones that i have sent so far. :)

It's not just me that avoids drilling like the plague then! All the fixtures in my bathroom have suckers on them, because I'm far too scared to make holes. I've got my ex's drill while he's travelling too, so there's really no excuse... :/
