13 days without fags

I ripped the nicotine patch off last Friday, as it was starting to irritate psychologically, as well as dermatalogically. It's been hard this time. I've often felt sick and light-headed. But that's fading into a more pleasant state of slight mania. I seem more cheerful than when I smoked, and I've rearranged my head on certain issues. Ones that made me angry, mostly. Maybe giving up smoking, maybe just having a good holiday and doing some intense work on myself. Anyway, work is going well. They're giving me some more training. Training me to train, in fact. And I'm too busy, as usual. I have to write a business plan soon. If I think about it too hard, my brain goes into boggle mode, but in some ways I'm not actually that stressed. Still haven't written up Rome. Did manage to accidentally order some CDs though. I'm off to see Mirrormask tonight...

Yeah - treat yourself. You should be celebrating too.

The nicotine patches don't really suit me, but I've got one in reserve for if I have a shitty day. Or if I need to go manic and have an itchy square on my arm ;)
