My faith in retail humanity has been restored

Thompson and Morgan are going to send me replacements for the mushy bizzie lizzies, and Virgin changed my package to one that's only supposed to be available to new customers with barely a murmur.

Wow!

In other news, I did a huge garden tidy up yesterday, and even repotted houseplants and sowed some seeds.

Today I went to the tip, to the rococo garden, did some allotment and had a beer.

Tomorrow, it's rumoured we may be going ot see donkeys :)) Baby donkeys, even.

Baby donkeys? Where are there baby donkeys?

Did you go to Painswick? Is it nice at this time of year? We went to Snowshill last weekend and are planning to go to Hidcote sometime in May when Kieron comes back from his business trip.

The baby donkey was at Manor Farm, near Leicester. It's a long way, but I sponsor a donkey there, so we go up a couple of times a year. It was exceedingly cute :) (I have pictures somewhere, but I'll not get around to posting them for a few days...)

The rococo garden was nice - I'd like to see the snowdrops, but I had a 2-4-1 entrance deal, and was in Stroud anyway... The hyacinths were out, and smelled gorgeous. The kitchen gardens were just starting to come out, and we saw some newts. I haven't visited much round there (shameful, considering I lived there) - Kelmscott Manor is also supposed to be worth a look, as is Woodchester Park.
