Spent the weekend in Stockton-on-Tees, which derives most of its personal interest from 0ct0pus having grown up there. Actually, it's OK. Not a lot to say there.

The main news seems to be that some people split up. That's apparently more important than people dying in wars. Oh yeah. My personal opinion is that she should sell her story, disappear, and be glad not to be spending any more time with that bunch of freaks. Nuff said.

This is rather a taciturn post, isn't it? Had a great day with ninneviane last week, and a nice birthday. Today I have to sort out stuff for my mum, which is a drag. Working on setting boundaries in that area generally, so we'll see how that goes.

I'm fine thanks babe and I've missed you too! I confess I've been monumentally bad at sorting out meet-ups with out of town friends this year. :( It occurred to me the other day that apart from the odd home visit to London I haven't had a proper night away from Birmingham for months and months and months!

It's not a happy realisation - I know I've been burying myself in my work lately at the expense of other things. At this rate there'll be two of you the next time we get together!! :O
