Aug. 26th, 2003 04:17 pmHmm. I've finally woken up enough to get down a few notes about my weekend. Despite the extra day's holiday, it didn't feel any longer.
Actually, now I'm rather convinced that I'm losing the plot, although I've suspected this for a while. My mind seems to have finally surrendered some finer points of reality, convincing me that some fundamental shift in brain chemistry occurred in the past few months :P
In short, I don't seem to be able to remember much of the weekend at all.
I did go out for a curry on Sunday night, and watched Terminator 3. Which was way better than I expected, but that wouldn't have been too hard :D Sorted out my garden and planted Dad's tree. I made a really nice job of it and took some photos of the garden for posting at some point in the future. And I spent Monday with a friend who didn't want to go out anywhere :P So we stayed in and watched movies. That was it really - nothing profound at all.

mmm curry
I would consider that fairly profound, as is your failure to mention whether or not you think there will be a T4. Never mind the fact the world was blasted into oblivion ('ha ha, we killed you 3.9 times while you killed us only 2.4 times!'); there are plenty of gangs of roaches and mutated tupperware to fight for control of the radioactive wastelands!

Heheh - thanks. And there I was thinking that I was just shoring up my teetering sanity with pseudo-scientific platitudes...
I hope they don't do a T4 - the only rule I can find with terminator movies is that so far even-numbered ones are inferior to the odd-numbers. After the first one, I saw "Hardware" and much preferred that, although T3 does seem to have a fairly good sense of humour about itself.
Hmmm. Roaches or tupperware? I've always had an unhealthy hatred of tupperware, so I think that when I crawl out of my bunker I'll join up with our 6-legged friends.
