Reminds me of when I went to the careers office at uni - they told me I should be a heating and ventilation installer.

What do you actually do?

I'm a data analyst, giving out funding to universities. I don't much like it. The past few months I've realised that it's not all gone wrong - I love science, nature, technology and problem solving. I just don't like being a data analyst at the funding council. I'll go back after my maternity leave, but I think there's a career change pending,

OT, but -

Don't suppose you've got any thoughts on whether you'd like to ride when we're in the Lakes?

Have tried mailing and texting, but not sure whether you've got my messages? But Karen has canceled and we now have one space on beach ride and one space on heavy horse ride.

Is there any chance you can drop me a line and let me know whether you would be interested in either of the rides or not? I really need to let them know, but didn't want to cancel before I heard back from you on whether you were interested.

Hmm. Didn't get a text, but did get a mail which I haven't answered yet. Osrry about that. Would like the beach ride (as long as they don't mind rubbish riders) but not the big horse ride (see previous re rubbish riders).

Okay doke :) Both rides are suitable for novices, although the beach ride is an hour longer in the saddle than the heavy horse ride.
