Amazon seem to have lost my wish list. Guess they heard me bitching about them :P It's kind of annoying, though, as I'd been storing gardening books on there. Feh.

I just sold a game for 50 quid on EBay.

Christmas is also the prequel to New Year. Next year I want to:

Get a new job
Learn some Italian or Spanish
Keep bees

Not entirely sure, but I read somewhere that it's just excessive human tidiness destroying their peace and their habitats. I blame over-sanitisation for most things, so I'm goign with that for the diminishing bees too.

Isn't it the weather, the state of gardens and flowering? I'm sure I read somewhere that peoples gardens are too tidy and people are choosing plants for aesthetic reasons that have little pollen to attract wild bees...so basically amounts to loss of bee habitat...same story across much of the natural world :(

Ohhhhhhh BEES! That is such a fabulous idea! I would so buy the honey off you! I'd love to keep bees and lets face it I couldn't live in a better place (it's not like they'd disturb any one) but I'd never have time and I'd probably kill them anyway, somehow, I know me! :D

I'm going to try solitary bees first - they don't make honey, but you have to caretake them like hive bees. And if I can manage that, and when Ben's a bit older, I'll get a proper bee hive.
