That was the first time I've been to the Lake District, and I loved it. I'm definitely going back for something a bit more "off the beaten track". Although it did seem generally a bit more tamed than e.g. Bodmin.
Aira Force was fairly near Ullswater. I'll probably stash my entire photo collection online at some point, but the waterfall had almost drilled down through a rock, so it was kind of enclosed. Very cool.
