My recent resolution to drink less coffee was just shattered by the experience of my compulsory "diversity awareness" workshop. This was an attempt by HR to explain how 80s-style equal opportunities have given way to 90-s/millenial style diversity awareness. Peppered with phrases like "differences are good", "we should actively CELEBRATE the individual", and "embracing individuality". So I had to drink a lot of coffee to stop my brains melting and dribbling out my ears. Although I may have lost a bit of cortex when I snorted with laughter at their gross stereotype of analysts as only being able to do number stuff :D

So, thank god it's the weekend. 4 more hours and I'm outta here...

Stuff like that always makes me nervous. It just ends up sounding so meaningless, yet defensive. But definitely PC.

That's exactly it - you can't argue with it, because it's right, but you also slightly feel that the point is _totally_ being missed :(
