Finally I can go to lunch. Everyone but two people went over to the pub for lunch for about an hour. The two people left were far too busy to take an hour for lunch. So instead we had to take an hour to answer everyone else's phone because nobody bothered turning on their voicemail or answer-phone.

*sigh*

Know how you feel. I'm going to be the only person here for my department the week of Christmas, so for 4 days I have to handle any accounting calls, run the mailroom, and of course due the accounting duties of 2 other people when there's not enough time in a standard work week to do all of my job...

It's great fun when you get stuck with the short, pointy, end of the stick isn't it...

Heheh - you and me both. We can email each other bitterly about it in our few overlapping work hours :p Luckily I deal with universities, and they're all closed, so it'll be realtively quiet here.

History ala Western Civ and Ancient cultures. If I feel like it later I'll go for post grad in anthropology, but doubt I'll get that motivated.

mostly those that existed 3000 BC. Specifically I'm an Egypt friek, but some of the older aspects of Asian cultures are very interesting as well.

Ah - don't know too much about Ancient Egypt, but very interesting. I find Romans and Greeks a bit dull, but I like Ancient Britain right up until the end of the Anglo-Saxons, and I do quite like the Mesopotamian stuff I've seen. I mostly get interested in the language and mythology, but I like the museum artefacts and archaeology sites too :)
