Had some evil flu like thing at the weekend, so didn't really go out much after all. Although I did go out for a couple of walks and found a new park (indirectly) between my house and the shops. Guess I'll walk that way sometimes from now on. It was pretty waterlogged though after the rain on Friday, so this time I gave it a miss.

So what did I do at the weekend? Well, I played a lot of Tombraider and I finished wrapping Christmas gifts and doing cards. I restocked the cupboards after living on noodles for the past week. And I lazed about a lot.

All the rest was probably a good thing - I feel at least partly better now... no more black spots in front of my eyes, unless I stand up quickly. This is like my busiest work day of the entire year. And it really isn't too bad. I forced myself to have a break by going to the staff Carol Concert, which was quite sweet really. Haven't been to a carol service in years. Also got to ogle a cute guy ;)

My phone's ringing and I need LemSip...

Sounds a lot like my weekend, except I played Brigandine and Dragon Warrior VII (yes I play old games, leave me alone). Know the feeling on living on noodles. Here, you can get 9 packets of Ramen noodles for $1.00 US. Needless to say its a staple in any normal full-time student/part-time worker's diet. Of course its overloaded in MSG and I can't eat them, but I've also never claimed to be normal...

Always good to ogle the cute people. That's how I spend my staff meetings (and the real reason I sit behind the tree).

yes I play old games, leave me alone

heheh - nothing wrong with the old games. I still regularly boot up my Amiga for a quick game of Colonisation :)

*grins* MSG-intolerant? I thrive on the stuff *twitch* And yeah, we've got similar noodles... tesco "value" noodles for 9p a pack. I just buy a big stash whenever I'm in that store and work my way slowly through them.

heheh - nothing wrong with the old games.

The old games are sometimes the best. Most of the work in a lot of current games are graphics, so there are less new ways of doing things and all games become repititious, although great eye candy.

MSG-intolerant?

Heh, my roommate and I are the only people I know like that. If we eat those bricks of Ramen noodles (the first brand of them in the US was top ramen) we will get brain splitting headaches and, if we eat enough, we will throw up.

That's the only part that matters. Who cares if others think he's cute or not? I know I don't really pay attention to what my friends think of women I think are cute. Maybe that's because they all like pale aryanesque (white, blonde hair, blue eyes, etc) while I like a little more flavor in women (my dream girl is a hispanic girl with green eyes and dark hair). Works for me.
