Heehee - I just made one of the guys on our floor do a totally girly blush'n'giggle by holding the door open for him. That was cute :D

Can barely wait for the weekend - I took a couple of extra days off, so have a gorgeous 6 day weekend. Which I desperately need, because I'm becoming a bit run-down. I even had a nosebleed in a meeting today, which is a good sign of feeling crappy that I haven't had for years, and I could do without the embarrassment.

And I'm just noting this for my own benefits - no more commitments or avoidable emotional stresses until the end of the month. Time to stop pushing and spend some time regrouping and looking after myself, before I reach total burnout.

On the bright side, some earlier issues seem to be being patched up successfully. Tomorrow will tell. And yeah, I'm being deliberately obscure :P

Why am I hearing some creepy theme music like the theme from close encounters or generic mystery movie music...

You're not planning a murder or abduction are you? If you are it's okay, but if your collecting ransom I want a cut to keep quiet...

Well, as you pointed out in an earlier comment that I haven't yet replied to, you could just guilt-trip me into a cut :) Nah - nothing bad, I just don't want to be too explicit, or count my chickens before they hatch...

Understand the feeling. I just like being a wise ass. Afterall, something in me has to be wise if I'm not only the Elfking, but Ruler and Master of the World...

Heheh - don't worry, I like you being a wiseass. I still won't bow to your rulership, but you do cheer me up at least :P

Ah, my lifelong quest is fulfilled! I finally cheered someone up! usually I depress them, or sometimes scare them, or at the least give them the willies...

Of course the unfairer sex doesn't bow. They curtsey!

Heh your user icon is similar to a quote I just read:

Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you walk into an open sewer and die. ~Mel Brooks

You have invoked the sacred words of a great man *moment of worthiness* and shall forever be enlightened by your vast knowledge. But be warned; Mr. Brooks has caused spontaneous sanity amongst those who society has deemed insane...and beyond.

Hmm. Probably curtseyed once, when I was about 6. Not sure if I still remember how to do it, or if I'd bend in the right bits. And even if I could, I refuse to curtsey to that self-styled king of the elves. However much he sings, there are principles at stake!

Aww - thanks, hun. I've been feeling a bit crap all week, and then I went into the Chief Exec's office for a meeting, and it was so hot and dry and stressy that I started a nosebleed :( Embarrassing, but a sign that I should take it easy for a few days...

I'm not going to tell you again, Hanna. Either hit the spas for a mud wrap, or I'll have the gnomes haul you off bodily to one. Your boss won't like it if I have to call in the gnomes, as they make their coffee solid only to give off the appearance of using water. Normally, they just empty the bag and eat it like a bowl of cereal. Afterwards, your favorite bloke to tease or that gorgeous girl in your class you keep eyeing are going to treat you to dinner until you explode. This will ensure you truly do stay on your arse and do absolutely nothing! If I catch you even singing mentally to those tomato plants, then you will 'enjoy' physically hearing the Elfking sing, and I will definitely enjoy the profit that comes from selling tickets to that freakshow! ;)

I shudder to think of that horrifying sound... HEY! Wait a minute here bub!

You are mean *sniffle*

I figured you would have remembered that from our NMT time together, Jason, but reiteration for the masses never hurts. What will hurt are their therapy bills when they realize that the ruler and master (isn't that redundant?) of the world is just a harmless figurehead whose sole job is to hire those oriented to unbounded evil. We minions all pay homage to ensure the deception is kept current to the times and strive to reawaken the same despicable spirit within our Beloved Master. (You are hereby hence warned about acronym jokes!) ;)

As you say, reiteration never hurts, and what is redundancy but a compacted form of reiteration....

Hence, Ruler AND Master!

And I was told my job was to control and manipulate the masses into believing good is evil and evil is good, thereby insuring that the world's continuing decline towards evil would be a good thing....

Ooo - add soap and water to that, and singing in the shower could become quite life threatening!
