I went to Gardeners' World live and saw Monty Don :)) That rocks. It also means I now have live photos on my phone of both Ministry and Monty Don, which must put me in a very small demographic.

In other news, I'm working too hard, and being a mum to Ben by copying my Dad. Who provided slightly more parenting input than drinking vodka and trying to push me off staircases. Odd really - I was thinking about it this morning, and I don't really think I have any idea of how to be a mum from my own mother - it's all copying my aunts and grandmother, or spying on

ninneviane when she's not looking.

I have now two engagement rings. The even more pleasant consequences of this are (a) two weddings, and (b) the discovery of nice sushi in Bath
I've finally filed my feckin' tax return
The weather is really getting me down. So much so that I'm seriously considering the possibility that I have SAD. It's also trashing my garden :((
