I'm bored. Really and truly don't feel like doing anything. Which means that more than likely I'll end up getting boxed and watching TV *grumble*

Oh - and either me or my mother are going to have to be locked up in the near future. One of us is going to have to have some enforced sanity. Don't really mind if it's me, long as they let me have a net connection :P

heh i just had a real-life deja-vu. hadn't had one in forever... combination of the livejournal screen and font colors i'm using (green text with black background, matrix-style), and something i saw on tv. almost felt like i've experienced it in a parallel life rather than a long ago past experience.

Wow - really neat :D They're quite hard to describe though, aren't they. haven't had one in a while - I mostly get "I've been here before" feelings about places, rather than about events or situations. Plus false memories - they're kind of fun, cos I'm never sure whether I dreamed them, imagined them, or whether I'm just going insane :P

In my case it's always a combination of circumstances that hits me, like "I've experienced this exact same situation before".

That doesn't sound like deja-vu, unless you have never actually been to that place. I'm probly stating the obvious, it's just that you didn't specify and I jumped to conclusions.

Yes, places I've never been before :P Otherwise I'd be having literal deja-vu. Was it Dylan who posted once about different sorts of deja-vu? Like rien-vu, or something? Can't remember the exact phrases, but I was interested at the time. I think more than just places, it's a whole vibe/atmosphere/situation that gives me the feeling. Something about using peripheral senses seems to hit a strange bit of my brain circuitry.

Dunno, I've never heard of different types of deja-vu before. Interesting.

Bah - I searched through the group archives for two groups and still didn't find what I was looking for. I'll keep looking, and maybe mail Dylan and ask him if he remembers it.
