On the way into work this morning, I was stuck in the traffic jam behind a monstrous Toyota jeep.

Through my bleary pre-nine haze, I noticed its tyre cover had a picture of a canoeist on, obviously doing something very dashing.

And a slogan.

Society should consider the tender environment of the earth

They'd also replaced the little Euroflag on the license plate with an England flag.

I was so tempted to get out and knock on the driver's window to ask how they arrived at nationalist-5-litre-jeep-driving-environmentalist as a political position.

Was it because their car was green?

That's true. I sort of got the impression that they considered, then about 0.5 seconds later, they just thought "nah".
